Game Boy - Now In Color

The first time I heard about the Game Boy Color, I was at a friends house playing whatever. I stopped and knew I had to get it. It's what I've been waiting for (no Game Boy Pocket for me; I didn't fall for it's slim design).

It took less batteries! It was smaller! It had COLOR!
When it came out, I bought the Atomic Purple one, I loved how you could see the mechanics inside that made this little compact video game system work.
I fondly remember trying different color combinations for my old made-for-GameBoy games and I reveled in the new Game Boy Color games before me.

Although, at this point in time, I was knee-deep in the Pokemon craze that had hit America and most of the GBC games I had were Pokemon-related.
